At Countryside I spotted a group of models on a table with a sign saying "$10 each, $25 for 3", so I went through them and came up with a Minichamps Porsche Cayenne, this Road Champs Firebird, and the one I really wanted (to be described later). Most of the original Trans Ams were coupes, though there were a handful of convertibles. Road Champs like these were sold in the big box stores about 20 years ago for $7 or so, and were not bad replicas for the time. But the hood lettering seems to have been made with a pad printer that had the jitters. YatMing/Road Signature also makes one, but I'm unaware of a WM or resin 1969 T-A. The real car story is here: https://www.hemmings.com/stories/article/1969-pontiac-firebird-trans-am-2
