@david-green I missed out on the early Ebbros - so I have no 1st or 2nd Gen cars except for a Johnny Lightning 1:64 that looks just like my 2000 Miata. I guess I should start looking again.
Do you know of any Mazda RX-7 models in 1/43 scale? I assume there were some before I started collecting in this scale, but i have not seen any.

Hi Ed,
It depends on what year you are looking for but I imagine most versions of the RX-7 were made.
Ebbro did the 1978 version as did Norev(Hatchette) currently available with a magazine in several countries.
Kyosho did several including the first version and later ones. Here are two Kyosho models.
Thank you. My interest is the first generation and third generation, sometimes referred to as FB and FD versions. I had a 1982 RX-7 (first generation) from 1982 to 1993. I bought a 1993 RX-7 (third generation) in 1993, which I still own. I am familiar with the first and third generation 1/18 scale models by Kyosho, and have their third generation one. I did not know they made 1/43 scale versions. I learn something everyday!

1990 First Generation Mazda MX-5 Miata (Eunos) by Ebbro.
When introduced in October, 1989, this Miata only was sold with three colour choices, white, red and blue. This one is a right hand drive version for Japan.
Harv, I have a couple of Generation two models in 1/43 but I cannot currently find them. Too many storage boxes. I do like those smaller Johnny Lightning ones and have several colours of those.
Some nice Miatas and Rx-7s here guys - for more of the latter, see my post for 8/7/21.
