John - There is a Facebook group I joined called Dinky Toys Collectors Group.

Lots of US collectors there, plus a bunch of Brits and Frenchmen of course.

As for Dinky 410 Bedford, I still own two of these I bought new. One is red cab, cream dumper, no windows, and the other is yellow cab, blue dumper, with windows. I am not aware of all cream with red wheels as an original, but then on FB I find all kinds of color variations I never knew about.

Sorry, no pics. Still getting around to photographing my entire collection.

A lot of Dinky experts are here also...

dtca with every variation discussed. Not much on restoration though, I do not think.

Good luck - keep us informed on your progress. I love the old Dinkys I still have from childhood!

Dinky got a lot of mileage out of this Bedford O series cab a glance at my shelves finds the light blue Pullmore car transporter, the refuse truck with a tipping body and sliding side doors, and even an army drab colored truck with a bed similar to the dump truck but which does not tip. Most of mine I've had since the late '50s, early '60s and most have their boxes.

Dinky Bedford Trailer 3D Printed

Hi Guys
Thanks for the info. Lots of info on colors, casting, etc variations. Looks like maybe 5 or 6 major variations. John you have almost all of them. The one item that caught my interest was a trailer that was designed but never produced. It was kind of art deco styling and kind of neat. Looks like a couple models were made by individual in the early 2000s. I am going to try and model this trailer and have it 3D printed. Wish me luck.

Bedford Trailer CAD Model

Hi
A couple pics of the CAD model of the trailer. There is/was a complete set of production dwgs for this model on line. Makes it much easier than guessing at the dimensions. Had one body and base printed, screwed up on the base and will have another set printed.
