RV/MH Hall of Fame Update
On July 3, my wife and I made our way to Elkhart, Indiana to complete the last major phase of my camper collection donation to the RV/MH Hall of Fame museum. After my last visit, I realized there were still more models in my storage unit. I'd already overfilled the four display cases the museum had provided. Karl Schnelle had helped me get as much in as possible, but the shelves were quite crowded.
The museum's director agreed to add two more cases and I planned to go up in March until COVID-19 hit. The museum re-opened in May and I made my plans to return.
It was fun to reorganize the shelves and add to them. Check it out!

"... still more models in my storage unit." Yep, I can see that!
Where do the NEXT THREE units go? I think you filled up both sides of the hallway now! (Sorry I could not be there to help again, esp. sorry for your wife.) 😉
Yeah, it's a sobering reality
I've got a lot of work to do to downsize the rest...
And Julie, for her part, seemed to have a good time. At least she was entertained watching me get excited opening everything up.
Beautiful display and a loving wife!

Amen to that!
The loving wife part, I mean.
Wonderful themed collection, museum should be proud to have it.
Well done, Randy. And thanks for the update.
Well done, Randy.. Now more people can enjoy the collection.
And if you live around, you can always look at and after your collection.
I have tried to bring my collection in the Louwman museum ( Brooklins and US models). They were not interested.
Great collection Randy. A question - do you know where the display units came from?
+1
The theme I see is that the smaller scales are on top with larger scales closer to the bottom. Your donation to the museum is priceless and gives visitors a real bonus during their visit. The director is to be congratulated on his vision.
I can find out...
