Diorama help needed please

Hi all, can anyone help in pointing me in the right direction for 1/43 Diorama products? My lad Elliott and i bought a small Diopitlane Diorama from a swapmeet yesterday and we are both hooked. Took some great pics of Brooklins today so now feel we need to have a go ourselves at something a little bit bigger and a bit more advetureous, what's great is my 12 yr old daughter Scarlett is very interested in helping in the construction, so quite a family thing. I have ProScales web site address and they have some really great looking buildings, (are they as great as they look?) any help here would be much appreciated.
Cheers all Mo..

Proscale ...

I had some Proscale garages, these are real eyecatchers. The garages are made of plastic (PVC ???), my orders arrived in good shape, some small parts came loose during shipping but where easy to replace.
Jim also builds custom garages, had about 8 of them (Chrysler, Buick, Chevrolet, ...), some with small differences, other completely different. A real pleasure dealing with Mr. Hardin.
Can't post picts. of them because all where sold, maybe Randall can post some, remember he has some very nice Proscale garages.
1 warning, if you place Brooklin models (only have experience with brk's, most probably also counts for other makes) on the plastic, then due to a chemical reaction the tyres sink in the plastic leaving "tyre pit marks" in the plastic.

Diorama Stuff

Mo, Hello. I have a Proscale Hudson Car Dealership 50s era. Very nice item. I had mine built rather on the plain side as most Hudson dealerships of that era were not fancy. Jim will do whatever you want and is a stand- up guy to work with. I need to get a gas station myself. You can go to 0 scale in the train section on ebay and find diorama items for 1:43 scale also. You find some interesting items sometimes. Go look there if you have not already. You can always build your own too ! Have fun looking. Take Care, RANDY B.

Dick, sorry to be a pest but can i send you a few pics to attach to this thread?

Cheers Mo..

Mo the best bet here is to go to ........

'O' gauge railway modelling sites. My brother-in-law, Richard, uses card 'O' gauge kits as a pattern to cut out sections. He then builds them up in plastic card! There may be a model railway shop near where you live. The other thing to do is to visit a model railway show that has 'O' guage layouts. Here will be dealers who specialise in all things 'O' gauge and there will be a great range of products to produce all manner of scenes.

Hope this helps!

Cheers Chris
