DUESENBERG
Hello all.
Since long time,I don't see some pics of the fabulous Duesenberg.
30 years ago,I started my professional activity with some Duesenberg ?volution from Solido or Rio.
There are the pics of one of my favorite, the LaGrande phaeton more close to the reel car with some additional accessories.photo no longer available

Very impressive, Claude. Here's an older one. (pic)

Just to show how early this model is, read with a critical eye the information on the underside.

It impressed me when I bought it several years ago, and I still think it earns its spot in my display. Enjoy!
(later) As I looked around, I spotted this boxed Yesteryear. Obviously, Dugu was not the only one with a little spelling problem.

Please understand that I'm not making fun of these companies. My proclivity for "typos" (polite term for poor spelling) is no secret for those who suffer through my posts.
And I like this old Yesteryear version also.
(Pics) Also Minimarque MM '43 had a spelling problem...

Beautiful workmanship, Claude.
Were you copying a particular Duesenberg as you made each model?
Excellent!
Beautiful model and craftmanship.

DUESENBERG Coupe
Hi,David.
See what I did in 1968 from a DUGU.photo no longer available
Disc covers on wheels modernize those cars tremendously. Very nice.
PICs Hi Claude, I think it is one of the J type cars from 1929. MM issued them...
with top up and top down in red. 250 of each version were made as "1989 Car of the Year" for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club.

They were originally fitted with blackwall tires.
The 1:1 car had no supercharger, hence sidepipes were an optional extra.
Also hood ornaments were optional, at least in 1929.
The silver car I pictured was totally rebuilt and modified for me by Mr Holger Nikolai from Berlin.
It was made after a 1929 Duesenberg Model J Dual Cowl Phaeton which sold for $1,237,500 in 2011.
