PICS Its drool time !
Here are four of the latest conversions from the workbench of another famed Brooklin remodeller, John Ellis. Some of you may know the name of the other partner in the Auto Repairer company. Anyway, there's three commercials, and one car....the Buick Roadmaster with Continental Kit added. The engine block is a kit by Kingfisher Models from England.

Outstanding workmanship. But, why would anyone want to add a connie kit?
For the sheer enjoyment of producing something different.
IMO, that is the #1 reason
Nice to see John is still performing magic Mike.
Beautiful work on the truck and variations. Really nice. I admire the craftsmanship demonstrated here.
Yeah, I get it. The workmanship is top notch, I just happen to dislike continental kits, JMHO.
Astounding detail. Such fun! John's paintwork may be the best for this scale
I read an article describing his technique - multiple coat applications with lengthy drying times between. patient and fastidious. I am lucky to have a build that he did for me of a Motor City USA '50 Ford woody. It is so good that I sold off my original Motor City model to cherish my John Ellis version.
All of these look outstanding ! And yep, I would be happy to get the Roadmaster with the continental kit.
I recall looking at a Brooklin 59 Mercury station wagon that John had made in to a colony park woody, painted light metallic blue. It was at an event in the UK many years ago. I wanted to buy it so bad but decided that I had about drained my model funds for that trip......a decision which I regret. It was stunning!
Excellent! I really like the Buick.

Randell, I'd like to see a photo of the '50 wagon if possible.
