Here's a few pictures of a Durham Classic that I bet many collectors have never seen. A 1941 Chev 4 dr sedan.

@ralf That might have been the same Vectis auction where I got this LaSalle in 2018. It was a massive Durham collection, I think there were half a dozen variations just on this pace car.

I always liked  the Durham models and collected them regularly along with the early Brooklins. I just took a rough count and found 31. The last purchases I made with them was some 7-8 years ago when I bought several sets of tires. Like Brooklin, these were heavy models and at the time had slightly more detail than Brooklin IMO.

@bob-jackman, their finishes were superb!

@david-green I have that Ranch Wagon with roof mounted canoe. I’d forgotten they were made in such limited numbers.
