Every little EMC is a little jewel! 😉
Excellent review of a truly remarkable top-of-the-line replica, oops, I mean scale miniature to exacting detail! I can easily see how this could double, or even triple, in value.
A fine video look at this unbelievably detailed EMC replica of the Bugatti, John. It is astonishing the level of reality they can put into this model !
@mg-harv, those are very hard to come by. Beautiful model!

Indeed a very nice model. This is certainly a niche market at the price point they are asking for. I would be very nervous to display one and furthermore concerned if some parts get loose.
I am curious how many parts are involved in one of these models.
@nickies, this is a valid concern, given some other resins out there. But I've never had a part come loose from an EMC, and I have several. I don't know the parts count on this particular model, but they are usually very high. I remember Mikhail telling me the B&G HISTORIC LINE 1933 Duesenberg SJ Beverly Berline has close to 400 parts, the front bumper alone having 17.

@jkuvakas Hi John
Just for the record the term autominologist was coined by Reg Miles' wife back in the 1960's. Reg Miles had a similar role to you in reviewing model cars but in magazines during the mid-1960's to the early 1970's. Taking his wife's idea he changed the name of his review section in the British Model Cars magazine to Autominology.

@chris-sweetman, thanks for the background. The first I heard of the term was from Harve. I just figured it sprang out of his experiences.

@jkuvakas And I think he told me the trunk alone had 21 parts.
