No, not the John Wayne kind, but the classic white metal Western Models. Specifically, I just picked up some of the land speed record cars in the series from the Australian sisters selling their grandfather's collection. For all the advances we've seen (and enjoyed) lately in handcrafted white metal and resin, these old models really hold up!
1927 Sunbeam 1000 HP
1929 Golden Arrow - One look and you know how it got its name.
1935 S.J. Special - OK, not quite the Mormon Meteor, but you get the idea.
1936 Speed of the Wind
1938 Thunderbolt - this thing is ginormous and very heavy.
1939 Mercedes T-80
1939 Railton
I know there are a few more in the series. I'm pretty sure I have the Bluebird packed away somewhere... What else am I missing?
Quite the haul Randy. Congratulations.
Nice ! Very impressive machines and they all look great.
