Back in the late 1970s and early 1980s, the Canadian Toy Collectors Society held a Spring Members Competition This was my entry about 1979 which won first place, a Brooklin Canadian made Chrysler Air Flow was the prize. I joined CTCS in 1974 and still participate in their Autumn toy show. Most models here are 1/43 scale.
Just going through old pictures and could not resist posting this one. Here are two more entries from other years but not winners.

they look fantastic David. One of the first car 'genres' that stirred my now lifelong love of all cars was the 50s and 60s British sports cars seen on Australian roads during those decades.
