A few days ago, I was reviewing my photo database and found a photo set for a 1957 Series 62 Convertible by NEO Scale Models that I'd forgotten I had. Having just received the 1958 Series 62 from Stamp in Olympic White, I was surprised to find this '57 in Alpine White. I hope to be able to take some photos of these two together very soon. Here's the '57.

The '58s I promised last night are still coming... later!

...a side-by-side comparison will be nice to see.   Although similar in shape, there are many differences between the two.  😉

Would like to see the 1957 & 1958 models together.  Just received my Stamp 1958 convertible and happy.  Not sure why they choose to use a blue conv. boot cover, instead of white.  The standard would have been white, to match a white conv. top.

"The standard would have been white, to match a white conv. top."

Actually, that's incorrect.   The industry standard in 1957 was for convertible boots to match interior colors, deviations did occur (Cadillac owners could specify anything really if they were willing to pay for it ).    Any optional hard fiberglass "parade boots"  (standard on Eldorados ) however, did match the color of the car regardless of top color.

Stamp got it right.  😉
