That is a sensational-looking white metal replica from Brooklin-SMTS. You could certainly go through the drive-in pick-up window at the local burger joint quite rapidly with that bright red machine ! Eek

Awesome promotion AND videos.  Until 5 minutes ago, I had ZERO knowledge about this "machine!"  Pretty cool.  😎 😎 😎

There was no intention from me to highjack this tread but I saw these three documentary segments about 2 months ago and I thought there would be some interest to see this mechanical marvel of a beast to hit the racetrack.

I wonder if SMTS acquired the old circa 1979 Western molds for this. Here's my Western, purchased in 1980 for a mere $42 (hey, that was big bucks back then!) I also have the Schylling wind-up version and once had Ugo Fadini's very slightly underscale resin version.

BTW, I saw the real thing at Beaulieu in 1981, but only have old photos pasted in an album somewhere. It was sitting with an early 1920s Sunbeam (in pre-Bluebird colors), the 1964 Proteus-Campbell turbine-powered LSR contender, and the 1929 Irving-Napier Golden Arrow.
