Fine images of this exceptionally nice replica from Brooklin ! It looks great in black here.
I have several 1953 Kaiser models, although they are 1/18 scale diecasts from Highway 61. In any scale, this one is a superb looking automobile.
Yes, it looks great in black. This is called the Rotterdam version, I believe.

The what? 🤨 😬 🤔 I've never heard of a K-F Rotterdam version, and I've seen some pretty exclusive K-Fs. Turns out, however, that YOU are 100% correct, but it's a Brooklin thing. 500 K-F were made with this "RT 1953" license plate.
Nicely done Barry!
Yes, the box is marked "Rotterdam Deluxe Modelcars"...

David that is really a stunning Brooklin model, when I first saw the pictures with the trees in the background I thought it was real, scrolled down looking for pics of the model and saw the box, took another look and sure enough, Bravo Brooklin!
Thanks for posting it.
Models = Miracles in miniature = Holding History in ones hand
Cheers and Happy Collecting,

Thanks David, the Brooklin Kaiser is a great model and looks very impressive in solid black.

Those trees are real; well, they appear to be real. 😏 😏 😀
Not being the "major" 1/43 collector most of YOU are (< 120 pieces ) I have a comment & question. Knowing nothing about these special Rotterdam edition Kaiser sedans I did a super-quick value look up and discovered they appear to be going for identical money as my "regular" blue version.
Q: A 500-piece run doesn't seem all that exclusive, therefore, were they ever worth more? 🤔 🤔
@chris, "Limited Edition" in white metal models is a whole different animal from diecast. With most production runs being a small percentage of those in diecast, a true LE would be less than a hundred units, even back when those Kaisers were being made. A run of 500 models would not be as rare as one of less than 100. As a general rule. the most coveted white metal models would have a production run of less than 50.

Thanks John, it all makes sense now.
