Interesting that, from what I read here, you guys can only get these as boxed sets. I've been fortunate that shops in Spain and France have been offering them for sale singly, so I've been able to pick and choose.
Reminds me of the situation years ago when the Franklin Mint cars of the 50s and 60s could only be bought over here by signing up to buy the sets (and the display cabinets). I could see some models in those series looked good and others not so hot, so I passed. Over the years I picked them up singly at collector meets.

@graeme-ogg Not just boxed sets but we have to subscribe and get them all, or cancel whenever we want (hopefully).

I have most of these American Cars series models but have not had to buy each sub-series in its entirety. I buy them several at a time from Spain.
