Another nostalgia shot. I love the 53 Studebaker style because it was so fresh for the time.
That Studie just couldn't wait for a studio shot. Awesome!
@bob-jackman Bob, holding me down, twisting my arm, I'd say the 1953 Studebaker would be my favorite 50s American car design
I had one, waaaay back, but never could get it running, again. I have to agree with Bob, re the uniqueness of the design. It was ahead of its time and for my money, one of the very first USA sports cars.
I love the style of the 1953 Studebaker, actually the entire run of this body from 1953 to 1964 are fantastic. A design ahead of its time in 1953 but held up well against newer offerings from other manufacturers right up to the end.

What a gorgeous and ground-breaking 1953 Studebaker by Raymond Lowey and Associates. I have this beautiful car in 1/43 and 1/18. The GT Hawk was also a remarkably cool follow-on to this classic ..... and Lowey and Assoc. also soon had a further absolute stunner coming up for Studebaker.
