From My Brooklin Collection... Post #018
When Brooklin announced their pending release of the '57 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Sedan, the model went on my list as a must have. The funny thing about the '57 Chevrolet Bel Air, as a 1:1, I like to see them at shows and such-but they are not one of my favorite cars-to be honest I could take them or leave them. This is a totally different thing when it comes to models, in 1:24 scale I have 14 of them in my collection. In 1:43 scale, there wasn't much available that I found interesting, I have one from FM and another from Ertl-neither of which are very well representative of the 1:1. And there are some others available that are even worse in their representation.
In my opinion, that changed with the release of the Sport Sedan from Brooklin, my opinion of course. For their 1st release, Brooklin chose an excellent color combination in Lakespur Blue & India Ivory.

Your pictures really show the car well. John. One of my favorite Brooklins. It is the most accurate of any 1:43 ‘57 out there.

John; as you may be aware last year the BCC club special was a 57 Chevy 210 2drht in metallic green with light green roof and side spear. It is an awesome model IMO and if you don't have it, now you have another one to hunt for!
