From My Brooklin Collection... Post #033 & #034
I said in my previous post from yesterday, I love '47 Cadillac. The style of elegance of this year is among Cadillac's best, my opinion of course. I have quite a few '47 Cadillac models in my collection, several are from Brooklin, and more from a few other manufacturers.
These two are repaints of Brooklin's '47 convertible coupe. I was surfin' eBay as I do from time to time and came across these beauties. They were both at an incredible price, one I could not pass up. Now I have learned that you don't always come away with a good deal from eBay, photos can be deceiving. That was not the case with these two gems. They are both simply outstanding in their red & blue coats.
Now I have posted these a month or so ago, but not here as part of this series. When I posted them before, John Roberts recognized them. He figures that these could very well be his-they are not marked. If that is the case, then these are even more special, but if not, they are both exceptional models and wonderful additions to my Brooklin Collection as well as my '47 Cadillac sub-set.
1947 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupes - BRK 74x ...the 506th & 507th Brooklin models to join my collection.
