This model was issued by the O-Guage/Department 56 Forums as their 1st Annual Model - Now as it turned out, this was the only model that was issued, so 1st & last. A long series of drama followed this model's release, but that's not a conversation worth having. As of this post, this collector doesn't follow the O-Guage Forum any longer, so I am unclear of its continued existence.

With that, we got a brilliant model with loads of added features and presence. A Limited Edition, #26 of 50.

I didn't get this one as I already had the yellow version by Brooklin and a red one from another maker in resin.

Magnificent Christmas themed model. Love that trailer. Too bad that the Department 56 Forum just did one issue.

And don't forget the 1955 Willys Aero hardtops by Esval.  Two versions.

The Willys Jeepster looks really good ! My Grandfather had a Willys Jeep station wagon from about 1951 and I still have a vague memory of it. Very cool vehicles.

That is a nice set. We never did hear how many were made. Rumor has it that there were only about 25.

@jkuvakas 50 were planned. So they didn't get to that number? Note that John says he has #26. I have #06 (which I got from you).

@mg-harv, Joe Nahhas says they made 50. Perhaps that's the correct number.
