One of my most favorite series of models from Brooklin is the Buick Collection. I believe Brooklin issued over 30 models in this collection and looking at the Collector's Guide, I have all of them including quite a few duplicates, for a total of 52 of these wonderful models. As I assembled my set of these models, I came across this pair. The redder shade was issued first and for whatever reason Brooklin issued the model in a darker shade of Maroon, I wasn't aware of the 2nd color until several years after I bought the redder shade. The two colors are distinctly different, so I of course, had to have them both.

I agree with you John about the Buick collection. Like you I have all of the Brooklin Buicks except I only have one of each.
