Very nice ! It is an impressive beauty from Stamp in 1/43. The real 1:1 certainly was a statement of success and the replica reproduces it wonderfully.

I follow Chris' thoughts, this must have seemed impossibly sleek - "long & low" in 1949.

Here are a few pictures of the Stamp 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible issued a few years before the 60S. Unfortunately, the proportions were wrong, the hood was too short and the trunk shape was also questionable.
