While the bulk of my collection is from the '30s-'60s - I still love to delve into other years, especially from the '70s. In this post, I'll take a look at 3 models from Buick in 1974.
The Buick brand is the 2nd largest group of models in my collection, following Cadillac.
The 1st model is from the Goldvarg Collection and all things considered is very basic transportation. It is a well-done model that definitely represents this basic "working class" car.
1974 Buick Century Sedan - Issued in 2020 - GC-048A in Nutmeg Poly - a Limited Edition, #012 of 240
A couple steps up the luxury ladder for 1974 brings the next model. This model is sporting a luxury vibe and even for the period the car was issued, looks great.
1974 Buick Le Sabre Luxus Coupe - Issued in 2013 - NEO-44124 in Ruby Red w/a white top - a Limited Edition, 1 of 300
The 3rd model moves up the luxury ladder another step or two. Even with it being a station wagon, the grocery-getter of the era, this is very luxurious station wagon indeed.
1974 Buick Le Sabre Estate Wagon - Issued in 2011 - NEO-44624 in Sand Beige w/Simulated Wood

A nice set of models. I remember these cars, much larger than what I was driving back then. Thanks for pictures and memories.

I couldn't stand Telly Savalas or his show. Just a conceited buffoon IMHO. I never liked his Buick either....so there!
