With the recent email from Buz @ Route 66 Models introducing a new color of the '57 DeSoto Fireflite convertible, I took a look at my database to see what I have. What I found was several from '57 (I must like these) but that didn't stop me from ordering that nice blue & white closed convertible that Buz featured.

In my discovery, I found this very nice pair (and yes, I bought them both on purpose) At the time I thought it would be cool to have the hardtop and convertible in the same colors.

DeSoto offered some great and unusual color combos in the late 50s; this is one of them.

John, After reading your writeup I checked my 57 DeSoto convertible holdings and found out I had no convertible. I immediately emailed Buz to correct that situation.

And here is a 1:1 in this color combination, which I found at a car museum last year in Tucson, Arizona.

Those are wonderful-looking 1957 DeSotos. They are in great colors here and I am sure Groucho and Fenneman would be delighted !
