For me the '54, 56, 59 & 60 DeSoto styling is iconic and the best of what they had to offer from their beginning in 1929 to their end in 1961. Sure, there are a few more years that speak to me, including the awesome '42. But the four from the 50s get my attention the most.
I'm fortunate to have a model or two of all 5 of these years in my collection, some in a couple of scales, but for sure all in 1:43.
Here's one from 1959 and it is definitely my favorite of the ones I have for this year.

Nice picture. I also like the DeSoto cars, and have seven of them, one each for 1942, 49, 54, 56, 57, 58, and 60.

Definitely has the WOW factor and the color combo helps that along!
A very nice model and the color is perfect for a convertible of its era.
Beautiful car and color.
Very nice! I want to climb right in.
Love the 50 and above Desoto! Beautiful color
I have #1 of 10. At last count, I have 23 DeSotos.
I would love to have a '61. Has anyone ever produced the final DeSoto in 1/43?
I particularly like the 1959 and the Brooklin is one of my favorites.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
What an exceptionally beautiful DeSoto ! Well represented by this replica.
The 1961 DeSoto has been wonderfully done, although it is in 1/18 released by Yat Ming some years back. I am happy to have 3 of this diecast model.
I looked in my photo database and for whatever reason I only have one set of '61 DeSoto photos available and unfortunately, they are not the greatest. But here's a couple of them.

I don’t know how I missed getting one of those back in the day but I regret it.
