The Chrysler 300 is legendary from its introduction in 1955 until the end of the Letter Series in 1965. The Legend continued. Chrysler brought the nameplate back several times after its 1st production end in 1971. The Legend is truly built upon the status of the 300s 1st years 1955-1960, and I suppose a few years after that. When I think of the 300. the '55-'57 years come to mind the quickest and are the ones I seek out at shows, with the '60 close behind. These were the cars that built the legend and will always be so for me.
Here's three from those years in my collection. The 1956, 1957 and 1960. I have all three of these years in white, but since I posted the '57 in white already, I used the red one for this post. These are very nice models, not perfect, but they represent the "LEGENDARY 300" very well.

They all look great, John, especially the 300F. I have the hardtop coupe in black and also the convertible, in this beautiful though non-factory color:

Fine images if these powerful beauties, John and, of course, Chrysler 300 is a classic all-time automobile.
In 1/43 I have a 1955 Chrysler 300, in 1/64 I have two 1964 models, and in 1/18, I have a 1956, two 1957 editions and two 1960 versions. I used to also have a black Maisto 300 from the last series in the 2000's.
As is clear, Chrysler 300 automobiles are always a favorite of mine.
Have them all john. Love the 300s.
I love the Chrysler 300s except for the wide mouth late 50s, which aren't as striking IMHO.
