With the arrival of Brooklin's '46 Pontiac, other great models came out to join in the photo fun. When that happens, I always see great comparisons and sets within the group that need a moment with the camera lens.

Here's one of those groups...

1940 Buick Super Series 50 Estate in Lassen Green - BRK 191a
1941 Pontiac Custom DeLuxe Torpedo in Paddock Gray, BML 03
1942 Oldsmobile B-44 Series 68 in Hurricane Blue, BML 25

1940s GM Wood Bodied Wgns 1
1940s GM Wood Bodied Wgns 2
1940s GM Wood Bodied Wgns 3
1940s GM Wood Bodied Wgns 4

Thanks for your fine pictures, John.  I appreciate your sharing the really nice models from your collection.  I confess that I had to look twice at that Oldsmobile grill;  1942 models just never have been that common!

Keep 'em coming!  David H Laugh

Good looking group of models, John. Your photos do them justice. How many woodies do you have...today...I know that may change tomorrow! 😊

Fantastic, John, I LOVE 3-car combinations!

I have display cases that fit 3 1/43 models, in two different styles.

Good question. I checked my database, and I don't track that, just station wagons. Which I have 207 of them. I am guessing that actual "wood-bodied" cars, including the couple coupes, convertibles and sedans, probably about 50.

Beautiful woody wagons.  The gray one is a nice change from the regular colors we see....I like it!

And Goldvarg has a 1953 coming.  Should show well with this slightly modified (corrected) Provence Moulage transkit.

@jack-dodds The grey one is a 1952 Super but has a 1953 front bumper and hubcaps. This is strange.
