These two were issued by Stamp Models last year and for me, a must-have in my collection. I saw one of these nearly 10 years ago at a car show, even with my knowledge of cars, this is one I didn't realize existed. Stamp issued the model in three colors, the two here and black.
I am very happy to have all of them in my collection

I don't think I've ever seen that red one, John. Very Nice!

@jkuvakas I have the red one. I personally think it is the best color. There is a video on UTube of a 1:1 in that color as well as a black one from Europe.
Here it is..........
What great-looking Cadillac replicas from Stamp. They may not be as well-known as the "standard" 1959 Cadillac car, but it is a remarkably cool vehicle and sure makes for such a wonderful model to have and display.
These are remarkable cars (and great models John! ) when you consider all that was achieved. I always found it fascinating that one of the goals was to incorporate styling that was 3-5 years ahead. It took until 1965 for these '59's to look "dated."
I've mention this before... a friend had a chance to purchase one, but the windshield was smashed. He declined, "Where will I ever find another windshield?" 🙄 🙄
@nickies Thank you for the video Nickles. I have the black one which I like a lot.
Great looking models. I prefer the more refined fins vs the cartoon look of the production cars of 59.
Windshields must have been an issue with these as I recall in my former town in Brisbane California, circa 1985, a neighbor, a sort of car broker/flipper, had a black one with a cracked windscreen which I guess he ultimately sold on. Wonder if it was the same car you mentioned. These are remarkable cars (and great models John! ) when you consider all that was achieved. And speaking of very rare Cadillacs, this four door Eldorado Seville is one of only four made according to my research. it was a four door hardtop which used the rear quarter panels and roof line from a two door Eldorado.
Compare to this Eldorado 2 door hardtop

The timeline for my story was c.1995. Hmm.... 🤔 🤨

Well it could well have been, my time line is pretty vague. This was in the San Francisco Bay Area. Where did you see the one with the cracked screen?
If it is even possible, what's it cost for a glass company do do a one off custom windscreen?
