During the same winter-themed diorama setup, I assembled several models for a photo-shoot. This set was one of those models. I wasn't really thrilled with the photos (and to be honest-the model either) The model seems nice, but the color, not at all realistic. I think the blue is just too bright.

Nice pictures, like all the colors. However, living in the Chicago area all my life, I do not remember seeing a top-down convertible with lots of snow around.

Here in Michigan, I didn't either. I guess we chalk this one up to artistic license.

These look great ..... and of course, they are Packards ! It's possible that actual un-faded color photographs from that time may show a bit more color in some automobiles (especially with special order cars) than we may think of now, and perhaps especially with a deluxe 2 door Packard roadster. Just ask the man who owns one !
I like the color John, and it's a 12 cylinder Packard! And of course GLM did their usual fantastic job!
Your pictures look great!
And a few more Packards from the Packard shelf. From left top, Rextoy modification, Tin Tin, Rextoy sedan, Danbury mint pewter but painted, CMF coupe

Hi Ed : No, I have some Packards, but not this beauty. They are all (in this scale and others) such beautiful cars ! In the older days, many advertisements were done with illustrations and artwork, rather than always using photographs.....especially full color photographs.
White fluffy batting material that is used at Christmas time to simulate snow. I then usually dust it with flakes of snow to add some texture and dimension to the fluff.
