BEAUTIFUL car Ben! I had some meager mods done but nothing like yours. I sold the car in 2012 with about 4,500 miles on it. Don't ask me who it was, but I seem to recall someone else had a Corvette around that time who DID put about a quarter million miles on it.
Sounds GREAT. I had a Vortex Ram Air system and a Borla exhaust system on mine. Miss that sound!!

@john-quilter Beautiful in both 1/43 and 1/1 scales.
Correction, the MG in this photo is a 24th scale kit by Wills Finecast, but here is a 43rd scale version, an Abingdon Classics kit, only $35.00 in 1982.

Sounds GREAT
When it was dyno tuned, it still had the factory exhaust, but it sounds much better now.
Do you watch the Mecum auctions Tony?
This past Tuesday (yesterday) a gorgeous yellow 6-speed convertible C5 sold at Mecum for a paltry $10k....!!!

Ben, that's the price you pay for Corvette ownership...but they look so fine when they are clean and shiny. I've been a Corvette owner for the past 20 years. I had a C5 and I currently have a C6 Grand Sport.Very nice Vette!
Thanks John, but it sure is a pain in the backside to keep clean!

Yes they do John....I have owned my black Trans Am for 30 years, and that car is hard to keep clean also!
And for some reason, I keep needing new back tires!
Any pics of the C6 you can share?

I usually do watch Barrett-Jackson and Mecum Auctions. Missed Mecum's last one I guess. The C5 is gorgeous, and a convertible. Probably a good price I suppose, since it is 25 years old with 75,000 miles. What a fun machine though!!Sounds GREAT
