When I attended the NB Center in November 2021, I purchased the six models that were featured from the NB Center Collection. This is one of those and since I already had the original version, I had to decide what, if anything, to do with that one.

As with some of the other models, the first thing I did was switch to black wall tires. The NB Center model came with whitewall tires, although the car in the NB Center Collection is fitted with black walls. I thought that the NC Center Hudson needed to keep its whitewalls, so the original version got the switch. Either way, or either model, they are both impressively done by Brooklin and are favorite models in my collection.

Absolutely fantastic in that color, John. The "Step-down" Hudsons were terrific cars, beautifully styled as your pictures show, as well as very well engineered.

John, that Hudson is beautiful in that color. And it looks great with both whitewalls and with black tires. Those were great Hudsons and Brooklin replicated that ‘51 accurately. Here is mine in the original Maroon

These two Hudson's look great and one can imagine how sleek these step-downs appeared back in the day ! Their construction was innovative and they were both race winners and roomy family automobiles, too, like the four-door fastback sedans in these excellent photographs . I have a couple 1/43 Hudsons .....a 1948 four-door blue/grey Hudson fastback kit and a dark green 2-door '53 coupe from Franklin Mint. and they are also good-looking, stylish cars.
