The wait for this model has been arduously long and with so many twists and turns in the saga, one has to begin to wonder if it was indeed worth the wait. In one aspect, the tale is not yet over, as the blue & white version of this release has not yet completed the journey to my door. While I patiently wait for the final piece of this saga to conclude, I spent some time with this model. Now I know, much has been said, both good and bad. A couple of collectors have had some definite conclusions of the model and its overall execution, and while I see what's been said, I see something much more. What I see is quality workmanship, a care and devotion to the crafting of this model that can only be accomplished by a rare few. This model shows a great talent and skill to their craft and the final result is breathtaking. Is it perfect? No. What it is, for me, is a "work of art" and another fine example that can be added to the craftsman's list of accomplishments. For this collector, I will cherish everything about it and display it proudly in my collection.

It looks great and very much so in gleaming black. The Packard Caribbean is a wonderful subject and it would be tough to decide between the two colors offered by Brooklin. I sure like my Yat Ming 1/18 versions and I am sure would also be delighted with this 1/43 edition, too.
Anyone deciding to draw quite definitive and absolute very negative conclusion based on internet photographs in my view is being highly debatable in their actions. Considering not one person noticed something about the posted images I had of a beautiful Caribbean at a local automobile show I think may make this even more obvious. As Abraham Lincoln said to Julius Caesar : "Cavere" !
