1962 was indeed a good year for Cadillac and the Fleetwood Sixty Special Sedan was a particularly attractive model with that rather formal roof. Nice model from Conquest in a beautiful color. Looks like the actual car. Thanks, John, for showing us this beautiful replica.

@jack-dodds Jack, my favorite year for Cadillac as well. I have the Conquest model Coupe Deville in silver and the convertible in yellow. IMO the Conquest models are some of the best white metal models ever made.

And in these years there was a short deck sedan known as a Park Avenue for easier parking and garaging. Not big seller. Wonder if any model maker will do this unusual version.

John, your '62 is gorgeous. Not my favorite year but one can't deny the car's handsome looks. I hate to splice in a different scale but some of you may not know about Stamp's upcoming 1/18 1962 Cadillac Sedan de Villes. I think they're beautiful....real show stoppers! 😯 😯

@chris I received the MITICA 18 scale 62 ElDorado convertible about a month ago.
