Brooklin's 1951 Chrysler Imperial is an excellent model. A fine example of the early 50s Chrysler style and the last convertible until 1957.

The 1st one is the standard release issued by Brooklin in 1999 and finished in Crown Maroon.

Earlier this year I came across another color variation. This one has been modified & detailed by an unknown craftsman.

Incredible. I like these better than the hardtops!

What beautiful Imperials and Brooklins ! I have a hardtop 1951 Imperial from Brooklin and it is a favorite.

Brooklin did 200 for the Wessex Club in top up form in ivory with buckskin top and interior and Kelsey Hayes?? wheels.  I had one but sadly had it stolen.

A beautiful model; I have my Imperial on display alongside its Cadillac and Lincoln competitors:

Not to make light of your loss, Jack, but...what did you do, park it on the street in a bad part of downtown Calgary?

@moe-parr Well....not quite.  I prefer to think it was hot wired by a 1/43 scale car thief. Wink

Like their hardtop counterparts (which I also love ) these early Brooklins still have "presence."    Nice pics guys, thanks.  Jack, I'm sorry for your loss.
