These two showed the style of Lincoln's last sedans. As the automotive world has changed to primarily trucks and suvs, the sedan has come to an end for just about all American Manufacturers.

Nice set of red Lincolns!
Good looking models, John. I'm going to check them out. Because of the few changes in these Lincolns over the last several years, these look very much like the one in the carport just outside my window. I'm taking care of it now, because I think it's a comfortable car and I'm not sure Lincoln is making these hybrids anymore. Thanks for sharing your fine Lincolns. David H
@d-m-holcombe, Lincoln no longer makes any passenger cars. The last car they produced was the 2020 Continental, which I thought was a lovely car. All Lincolns are now SUVs. It's kinda sad but that's where the market is. The good news is that Lincoln seems to have awakened from its malaise. Its entire line of SUVs is good-looking and competitive with interiors that are beautiful and luxurious. They're selling well. Maybe, one day, we'll see another passenger car!

That last Continental [2020?] with the center doors was a great looking, luxurious car. Too bad only trucks sell. Perhaps folks realize how convenient a high seat cushion is? Those of us who remember riding in cars from the early 50s didnt have to fall down into them. Or perhaps it's a need to feel aggressive, competing for time and space in this high-density era? Or perhaps SUVs are simply more utilitarian when needed and tend to be safer, as shown in IIHS stats.
@jkuvakas Thanks for the reply, John. Last Friday I drove over a hundred miles in my Lincoln, about 30 mpg, comfortable and quiet. It's five years old and has less than 40,000 miles on it. I think I'll just wash it, vacuum it, and keep it . I like a sedan. David H
@d-m-holcombe, I've always had a soft spot for the MKS, a beautiful car with a great interior. You chose wisely, my friend.
