In 2013 Brooklin Models issued this gem in their Lansdowne Series. As I learned more about Brooklin and Lansdowne Models, I found some of their English made Ford models to be very intriguing. In 2016 & 2017, I started looking into these and other manufacturers Ford models further, making a few purchases to add to a new segment to my collection. With that came this station wagon.

These photos were taken not too long after I received the model, I regret that I never took any additional photos of this one.
A few months or so ago I came across a turquoise version of this model that had been issued as the Lansdowne Collector's Club 2013 Edition-LCC14. At the time, I added it to my watch list, but left it alone. Then last month, I came across another one as well as a Cream (modified) version from the same seller. My interest was piqued, and I decided to purchase them both. When they arrived, I was very pleased with them. As I am often very much interested in alternate colors, these were no exception. Now as with many other cars from auto manufacturers outside of the US, I've never seen one of these in 1:1 form and probably never will. That, however, doesn't stop me from appreciating the excellent style of these cars.

Those are very good-looking Landsdown models of the British 1957 Zephyr station wagon ! The rear section design here seems to remind one of the American Motors station wagon from that time with it's added on aft area.
This one is my favorite Lansdowne model.

That maybe because these estates were conversions from sedans by the body builder Farnham although the AMC station wagons were not chops/conversions. However Ionia Manufacturing did a number of all steel wagon conversions on Buicks and Oldsmobiles and the 1954 Dodge Sierra four door wagon. Here is a Dodge.
