Early last year, the Goldvarg Collection offered the collector a wonderful model of Chevrolet's 1950 Styleline De Luxe. An outstanding model in two great colors.
In Mint Green:
In Moonlight Cream:
I picked up an extra one in this color, changed it to black wall tires

Nice, John, and I agree with Renato, it looks best to me with the blackwalls, and without the visor and fender skirts.

I bought it because it had the visor and skirts. We all see thing differently.
It looks good with the blackwalls but I do prefer whitewalls on cars of this era, even if many (or most) were sold with blackwalls. Great pics, John.
@bob-jackman There is not a lot of sun visor on models in general i think? Opting for something different makes a bit variety.
Thank you for this spread of Chevrolet versions John. Love the variety from fully dressed up to utilitarian, not to mention the colours. Great photo post.
@bob-jackman I agree. with you........... I like this one fully dressed up with GM accessories of the period. The Goldvarg Green 1948 Pontiac Streamliner also has a visor and fender skirts.
It looks great and makes a terrific model. I like it both ways, and like John, it would be really good to have more than one of this model to display in each form.
I got the green one to complete my 1950 Chevrolet shelf containing eight.
But earlier built this dark green one to illustrate a family car that towed a wooden horse trailer (with horse) on a 16 day trip from Virginia to the San Francisco Bay area in March 1951.

@nickies I believe the much awaited 48 Buick Sedanette from Goldvarg will have a version that has the visor.
@michel-lemieux Michel, the Goldvarg upcoming 1948 Buick Sedanette will have a version with the visor....it's a must have for me.
