From my growing Lansdowne Series group of models, I added this little gem about 2yrs ago. I find the style of these sedans to be most intriguing.
1961 Austin A110 Westminster Saloon, LDM 006c. In Persian Blue

It looks great and is in a really nice color. The fins are quite interesting here.
Cool little Austin. I'm with Mike on the color - I like it.
This one was powered by the same motor as the Austin Healey 3000 sports car, I think. Nicel!
Well actually, by British standards the A110 Westminster was a "big Austin"!Cool little Austin. I'm with Mike on the color - I like it.
The styling was based on the smaller 1959 A55 Cambridge styled by Farina, which had more prominent fins. A nice crisp piece of styling, although some thought the back end made it look "overbodied".
As happened in the US, the big fins were a fairly short-lived phenomenon and in 1961 the A60 Cambridge appeared with the fins cropped down, more like the bigger Westminster.
Personally I preferred the look of these smaller cars to the Westminster, whose styling always seemed a little heavy by comparison - although, if I'm honest, not nearly as heavy as the Lansdowne makes it look. It really wasn't as short and podgy as that.
Looks more like an old Moskvich. (Sorry. I have some very nice Lansdowne models but this isn't one of their best.)
p.s. (30 minutes later). Maybe I was being a little unfair. I just dug out my own specimen of the Lansdowne A110 and it isn't quite as dumpy as the pic above suggests.

Lansdowne made some really great looking models of British cars in various body styles from the 1930s thru '70s.
