This is not one of the models I had planned but when I read 1959 Comparison post I thought about this model I reworked a couple of years ago. This started out as a Western Models Buick Pace Car version, I wanted a solid white convertible that was similar to one a friend used to have a few years ago. That one also had a red interior and had red wheels. I removed the decals and painted the wheels red. Since this is kind of thing is not my forte, it required a bit of patience and determination. All things considered, it turned out pretty well.

Nice model. I have something very similar. It is a 1959 Buick Invicta convertible, white with red interior, from Western Models Collector Edition (WMCE). Other than the Invicta name on front fenders, it looks just like yours. I bought the model from Buz in 2017.

Beautifully done,John. I like it far better than the pace car. It was worth the effort.

Because I collect Indy Pace Cars, I had to have this one along with a 1/18 version.

@bob-jackman A bunch of pace cars are coming from Ixo - 1965, 1978, 1979, and 1984. Just in case you need to fill gaps.

John it came out great! You can't go wrong '59 deuce and a quarter styling.
