This wonderful model arrived this last Friday. I don't know how many of them were made and whether or not they are still available or will be again in the near future. I am completely thrilled to have mine and I hope everyone that wished to acquire one was able to do so.

I really like the color combo and the blackwall tires suit it well.  Waiting anxiously for mine.

Lovely model, remember back in 1956 my pops had a 46’ in a dark blue….he had me washing it once a week for 50 cents …

also remember his coming in the house and announcing he’d bought a new car a few years later…..ran out of the house all excited only to see a 47’  in dark green lol….I was one disappointed 12 yr old !

From your pictures, it seems your front bumper has the same plating issue as mine. It is yellowish and not shiny. I sent pictures  of mine to Brooklin and will see what they have to say.

Otherwise, the model is nice.

What a spectacular 1946 Pontiac Torpedo ! A really good-looking car and excellent white metal model of it by Brooklin/NB Center.

@jack-dodds. You're letting your JR 1941 Pontiac Torpedo 2 tone go?? It's a perfect companion for your '46 when it arrives.

@kenspear

No worries, it will soon be featured in a photoshoot w/the '46 Pontiac, that black/gray color combination is just too excellent to pass up.

Thanks, Jack!

Just noticed.  It couldn't have gone to a better home.
