Really like the models and the comparisons  - my Dad owned one of these but I was too young to know for sure!

after I received the new 1962 Starfire from Conquest Models, I of course, wanted to do a comparison of models. so...

1962 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible & 1963 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertibles in Ebony Black

 

I have that Brooklin 63 Olds and the Conquest 62 Starfire in black with top down.  I love them both but the Conquest is a cut above for finish.  I'm much more partial to the 62 styling too.

Love the conquest starfires but wipers are a little off scale. 

That Conquest is one beautiful model. The wipers present much better in person. Here's one of the early "My Takes" from when this mode was introduced.

Only on the convertibles.

The wipers on the hardtops are better scaled.... I don't know why...they were all produced at the same place.

Well, if nothing else I think the wipers are better scaled on this 1:43  '62! (The rest is a matter of opinion).

I agree, all of the wipers on the initial four colors are a bit too large, but I still love them.

but on the newest color, they are much better

I'm sure on the new red/white version coming soon, they will be improved as well.
