Thanks for the info Chris and thanks John for the link. I didn't know it was offered with and without the woodgrain.  There's a wealth of information on this site!  Personally, I like the Sport Wagon better with the woodgrain.  It looks unfinished without it, especially the 1969.

You're welcome for the info and, as noted, adding wood grain panels to Kess's Buick would certainly be acceptable AND easy.   Pleas post pics if you do it.  😎

I agree, I think they look better with the wood grain too. Unfortunately, this is not one of the better models from Kess. The example I received w/wood grain was awful. Poorly applied trim and the wood grain was inconsistent. It was too much for me to attempt a repair. It went back, and since I wanted the model, I took this one instead. I switched the terrible wheels and black wall tires to what you see here. These wheels and tires came from a defective Goldvarg Riviera I had.

The wheels don't bother me (they appear to be nicely done...  ) as much as that "giant"  mirror does.  Sorry to hear your woody version was so bad John.  In this pic I think it looks pretty good.   But of course, nothing's as pretty as a picture, right?    🙄 🙄
