As a fan of most all cars from across the globe, there has always a select group that are at the top of my favorites list. Well maybe more than a few. Anyway, a decent number of them are from the 1941 model year. Cadillac, Buick & Packard are at the top of the list. Since I discovered in earnest, 1:43 scale, white metal models have been at the top of my want list from the beginning. Brooklin Models opened the door, followed soon after with Durham Classics. In 2016, I purchased my 1st of the "higher end" white metal models (actually 2 of them from Route 66 Models) that purchase opened the door to my investigating what else there was, even today, that list of wants is still quite large.
At the top of that list, was the 1941 Buick from Western Models, the sedanette coupe, convertible and station wagon were most wanted. A sedan would have been included in that group as well, but thanks to Route 66 Models, Buz issued a sedan version that I picked up in 2017. Since that time, I've seen photos of the other three in books, here on Forum 43 belonging to others, as well as a few auctions from time-to-time that were just outside of my purchase ability for various reasons. That changed at the end of May '25.
I came across an eBay seller that had each of the three listed, I watched the auctions for a few days and decided to make my move. Posting my maximum bid as I do usually in the last 5 minutes when I can, earlier if I can't. This time I could. I won all three, and I was thrilled. Finally, I had all of the 1941 Buick models I wanted. These three were listed by the eBay seller as NOS, and after examining them, I think they very well might be. The models are nearly perfect except for the yellowed headlights. An issue that seems to plague many of these older white metal models. I still find it a bit disconcerting, but I accept them for what they are.
I'm going to show the three models I just received as well as the original sedan I've had for several years now. Thanks for looking at my photos, and if you took the time to read my ranting, thanks for that too.

Beautiful bunch of Buicks John.
Great pictures and writeup John. I have all four of these models but in different colors except the sedan. Like you, the 41 Cadillacs, Buicks and Packards have always been favorites of mine as well and I was fortunate to be able to pick these Buicks up when they were first introduced. Congratulations on your new additions.
What a beautiful set of automotive works of art! Wonderfully photographed!
A long time fan of the '41 Buick in any configuration. Love your pics and write-up.
