Here's a very early model from FM, hard to believe that I have owned this model for 30 years. I purchased these Cars of the 50's sets long before I really looked at any other 1/43 scale models. I added these simply because they were available from FM and looked intriguing. Most of the model were hit or miss in their overall quality and presentation. Despite the awful door gaps, this is one of the better selections.

Yep! Have it and still love it - despite the out-of-scale-panel gaps. 🙄 But I'll happily make the trade-off.
I also have the blue Franklin Mint 1/43 1952 DeSotos and it is one of my favorites ! A very cool replica of an automobile from that era.
