Both models were offered for the 1961 model year. Both models were crafted by the Goldvarg Collection and coincidentally, they are in the same colors.

Both are very nice. My preference is the Oldsmobile. I like its design, and is one of those models I probably should have bought. Great pictures.

Is it just me or does that Mercury look very "off" somehow?
(Certainly not your photos, John!)
As a 1:1 it would be a tough choice but as far as these models go, the Olds by a mile!

Beautiful models John. I lean towards the Olds also. Love those skegs, on the Olds and Cadillacs of this period. 💯👍

They are both great-looking 1961 automobiles and fine Goldvarg replicas of each one. Clearly a superb job by Goldvarg on each of these car models and the exterior color is really nice here. Because these scale gems look good and photograph so well, I am sure they display in your collection very well indeed, too.
