Anybody knows what are the final production wheel covers on this model? Is there any update on the 1948 Roadmaster and how the hood ornament will look like?
Looks great. The wire wheel covers look outstanding. Thanks for sharing Jani.
@bob-jackman They are not wire wheels covers. They are the very rare finned cast aluminum covers and they were very fragile and prone to crack. They were bolted behind the steel wheel and the center cap was removeable to have access to the log nuts.
Nice, but I'm very surprised to see a Goldvarg model with badly mis-aligned lower body trim on both sides - or is that a bit of accidental damage from handling?

Thanks for the correction Nickles.

From personal mishandling mistakes I would suggest the latter Graeme. Easy fix.
@jack-dodds Does this mean none of these "chrome" strips are protected under some kind of coating if the model is handled out of the packaging?
I never bought Goldvarg models before and this will be my first one so I don't know what to expect if they are on par with GLM, Stamp and Matrix or TrueScale Elegance.
All the chrome strips of the above have a solid bound as I handle them on a regular basis.

No coating as per your description. Well in my experience the chrome trim on Goldvargs requires regluing extremely rarely as opposed to NEO and Spark for example, which require this frequently. I have repaired dozens of those two brands, but only one Goldvarg, out of the very many I have, ever needed anything. It appears that the difference is basically better quality control at Goldvarg. Having said all this, the regluing fixes are relatively easy.
