Just for fun I did a search at target.com for "1/43". While you might expect to see the new Hot Wheels, Burago, Road Signature, New Ray, and GreenLight, I was surprised to see AutoArt, Minichamps, Solido, Vitesse, and even resin makers Almost Real, TSM, Esval, Goldvarg, and Spark. There are even some 'old' Hot Wheels 1/43s from several years ago. In the fine print they say "Sold and Shipped by Diecast Models Wholesale", so apparently DMW has got an 'in' with Target.
...correct. And so does (more or less ) Walmart, Amazon and a few others. The problem is that usually (not always ) pricing ranges from bad to beyond ridicules.

That's great ! The more, the merrier and the more mainstream places such replicas may be available, the better overall for increasing interest and providing additional outlets to see and buy.

A Goldvarg model is certainly not cheaper than buying from DMW.
