Hi everyone, I'm Kevin Luedtke from funky, fashionable Ferndale Michigan! I love Packards of any scale, but 1:43 is my favorite! I believe I've been collecting for about 30 years now. One of these days I hope I can come to one of the annual Chicagoland shows!
@mac711< welcome to the forum, Kevin. We'll be in Chicago this March. Hope to see you! You'll find a lot of friends here, many of whom love Packards as well.Â
@pascal-michelsBienvenue, Pascal!  I have seen your American 1/43 cars and trucks on Facebook - Too bad I just moved from Indy to Greenville, SC! Maybe you can post some of your work and collection here for the rest of us to see!
@mac711  Hi mac711     Welcome to the forum. I also am a Packard fan and have a pretty good gathering of them, all in 1/43. My biggest gap is in the pre-1920 models, where I have exactly 0. Well, these three are as close as I can come, and they're all old friends. Any ideas?  David H
Just realized I wasn't on the map. A lot of you already know me, so bypass my old self, ha! For the newer members, I am Tony. My profile here says it all: I live in Great Smoky Mountains - Maryville, East Tennessee. Â I have been the assistant editor to Jay Olins' D4C (Die Cast Car Collectors Club) since 1997 when I was 50. I became a member and director of the board and forums moderator, online, at the Diecast Zone soon thereafter. In the "Golden Age of Diecast" I did most of our reviews and photos of model cars sent to me by the Franklin and Danbury Mints. I was honored to be named to the Diecast Model Car Hall of Fame for 2007. I'm pleased to be part of the new and expanded website.Â
@perrone1, thanks for the update, Tony. I'm familiar with your significant contributions to the hobby. Your position in the Hall of Fame is well earned, my friend.
