So I have quite a bit of money tied up in the USPS pipeline that is moving at a snails pace or not moving at all.
I have a Golvarg that Sergio dropped off at the post office May 2nd with priority 2 day shipping, and the tracking number states it might get to me tomorrow, May 9th......so 2 day shipping turned into 7 day shipping, and that is if I get it tomorrow.
I also have a very unique Trax model coming from Australia.....the seller was quick in getting it into the mail, and it came across the pond fast, but that is where fast ended....it has been stuck with no movement at the Chicago USPS hub for 11 days....did I mention with no movement?
I also have 2 beautiful Brooklins coming from a seller in Bath England....he also was quick getting them in the mail, and they also came across the pond promptly, BUT......they were stuck in the New York City USPS hub for 6 days, with no movement until today, when it went to the Bronx facility....how long will they hold my pricey package there?Â
Who knows?
And now I have another model coming right from Brooklin......I won't have great expectations for that one!
It is clear that the USPS is no longer concerned with getting mail to its destination in a timely manner. It has been documented that all mail is being slowed down to save money. With any luck, mail delivery will get back to normal somewhere down the road, now thought to be 2024.
No one should expect any package to be delivered in a timely manner, based on the goings-on at the PO.
Hmmm, are you sure your cars weren't accidently listed as "mail-in ballots" ?
Â
Ben the really sad thing is while the USPS service is erratic many times their tracking follows suit. Nothing is more frustrating than to be told that your package is moving on to the next destination and nothing changes for days on end.

Well, if my models were accidently labeled as mail-in ballots, we all know who they would go to 🤣Â
Be thankful it's not UPS or FedEx. They're way worse. At least here we always try to get USPS to be our carrier.

I agree with this, but UPS nor FedEx gets bailed out by the taxpayers every year.
DHL is also quite bad.
