I try to get to town early and sort through the models I brought. All the distractions are set aside and I'm thinking, "Models and friends! can it get any better?" We have several Brooklins at show special prices, some brand new Goldvargs, a LOT of GLMs, some of which you probably have not seen before, a large number of DeAgostini American Car Series, and at least one "familiar example of unabashed elegance and beauty." There are several new EMCs in transit but it doesn't look like they will be here in time for the show. This is what my room at the Holiday Inn looks like.

Regarding the familiar example of unabashed elegance, is that a two-tone color model of which one of the colors is green?

Show set-ups can be trying but real fun; I have done a few.
I especially like how you painted all those "lanes" on that carpet so you can play with all the cars you brought. 😏 😏
And the angle at which you photographed your coffee made me look for the handle.... it looks like you're drinking a "pale of coffee!" 😬 😬
- Have fun, be safe!
@chris, LOL! I have learned to bring my own coffee K-Cups. It's Tulley's Hawaiian for my road trips!

@jkuvakas I thought “unabashed elegance and beauty” was in reference to your better half!
@randyrusk, that is certainly a more accurate description of Kelly than it is of "that model." I married way above my pay grade!!
