More and more I find satisfaction in the older Brooklin models in my collection, cars that were popular in their day  and models that did not require a second mortgage to purchase. No question, the current Brooklin models are exquisite but at the current window sticker prices they are beyond my reach. Progress, of course. But gone too, at least for the present, is the outstanding customer care personified by Amanda that played an important part of Brooklin’s appeal. So today I’m enjoying Brooklin’s 1954 Kaiser Manhattan in Island Green Poly.

David, we all miss Amanda. But Brooklin has not abandoned customer care. Simon is doing a good job.

Nice comparison between the full sized and the Brooklin, David. Thank you.

Two of my favorite orphans. When I was a kid, the '54-'55 Kaisers with that baleen grill just blew me away.

That’s reassuring that Simon is handling customer care.  Perhaps that’s not well known. I wonder if replacement parts are still available.

For new and recent issues, parts are available to those who buy from the factory. So, if you bought a new model and it is missing a mirror or needs another part, Simon can help you. For older models, Mo Brown of the BCC is handling parts

John can you help me get in touch with Mo? I need the little stub (down antenna) for this very 1954 Kaiser. Thank you!
